Senior Software Engineer

Vitalos takes technology work from strategy to production. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, build and ship custom products, modernise existing applications and integrate the systems they depend on. You will work close to the problem, with direct client exposure, and alongside the consultants who shape the work, so you build what we advise.

• Design and build web applications and services that go into production and stay there.
• Modernise legacy applications without disrupting the operations that depend on them.
• Integrate systems, APIs and data sources into reliable, well-tested platforms.
• Turn ambiguous requirements into clear technical decisions, written down.
• Review code, raise standards and help less experienced engineers grow.
• Work directly with client teams to understand how their organisation actually runs.

• Substantial experience building and running production software.
• Strong skills in at least one modern stack, such as TypeScript and Node.js, or a comparable language and ecosystem.
• Experience with relational databases, APIs and cloud platforms.
• A habit of testing, documenting and owning what you ship.
• Clear written communication and comfort working with non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience modernising or migrating legacy systems.
• Experience with React or Next.js.
• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
• Experience using AI tools as a practical part of delivery.
